REMOVING THE BARS: A SKILLS-BASED CONFERENCE IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE–JANUARY 29TH, 2011, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm

SAVE THE DATE FOR THE CAUCUS’ FIRST-EVER CONFERENCE!

The conference will focus on empowering social work students to build on the strengths of the court-involved adults, youth, families and communities with which we work. Presenters will lead interactive, skills-based workshops that will augment our learning in the classroom around how to be the most effective practitioners in the criminal justice and prison systems.

Conference costs whatever donation you can give; no one will be turned away due funds! Breakfast and lunch will be served!

Speakers confirmed so far are from the Children’s Defense Fund Cradle to Prison Pipeline Campaign, Bronx Defenders, Family Justice and Families for Freedom. More to come!!

Don’t miss it!  Registration will be open in the second week of December.
